Why is there a hold on my account?Updated 3 months ago

When a customer makes a purchase, the payment processor may first check with the financial institution to ensure that there are sufficient funds in the customer's account. This places what is called a "temporary authorization" on the account. Once the transaction is completed, the hold should automatically drop from the account within 5-7 business days.
